After serving many years as the silent sentinel at the main entrance to our building complex, the Towers Condominiums sign was in dire need of being replaced or rejuvenated. The cost of purchasing a new custom made sign similar to what we had was astronomical so it was decided to give the sigh a full face lift,
This process included identifying all areas were the wood was structurally questionable, excavating those areas, and filling them with a paintable, resin-based compound, The net result is that the physical integrity of the sign was returned to that of its glory days. when it was new. This approach saved us thousands and thousands of dollars and provided a great structure for the final painting.
The professional paint job was the final step in the restoration process and it really makes the sign "pop." What a great way to be greeted every time you come home. Given the quality of the craftsmanship, our "new" old sign will be welcoming us home for many years to come.
