Dear Community Association Owners & Friends of Alliant:

After six days of complete loss of power, cable, Internet, and recovering and repairing the damage from Hurricane Irma, the Alliant offices in Fort Myers and Naples are up and running, and back to business as usual. We are thankful that we made it through the hurricane in one piece, and most grateful to have power, cable, and air conditioning back. Being without power and WIFI for so long has been a challenge. Even though we relocated our operating computer system in preparation for the hurricane, it made no difference since IRMA decided to conquer the entire state of Florida. Plans for future disruptions of business include
relocating to another state and out of harm’s way.

We want to take this time to sincerely thank everyone for your unending patience, understanding, and support of the Alliant Team during this hardship. Our executive team and managers worked tirelessly before and after the hurricane focusing on what was and is important to your community, almost to the point of neglecting their own personal property.
They handled the post hurricane problems as best they could, sometimes working in unsafe conditions coming upon deep water, and fallen trees to get through. With no power or means of communication at times, was certainly challenging.

Our focus now is to take care of all financial and accounting matters for your association, and to concentrate on what’s important to getting your community back to normal. Even in the face of adversity, we still had our super heroes who used any means and found a way to assist our clients. For some it meant working out of their vehicles so they would have A/C and able to charge their cell phone to communicate with board directors.

Hurricane Irma hit Florida, and hit it hard with devastating force, and power, bringing high winds, heavy rainfall, water surge, loss of electrical power, cable and Internet, subjecting residents to mandatory evacuations, and disrupting our daily lives. While many of our homes
and businesses may have made it through this storm, with minimal damage that we are thankful for, there are many who have suffered severe damage, still have no power, have difficulty finding food and water, and others who have no home to go to. Our hearts go out to
all who have extremely suffered from hurricane Irma.

I once read on the Internet that “Common Sense and Decency” are lost, but I believe that both are back because I have personally witnessed people helping people during this time of crisis.

Thank you all again for your understanding and patience.
Very truly yours,

Millie Strohm
