Great "Shout-Out" for The Towers from Common Ground magazine!
Once again, the Towers Condominiums have been brought to everyone's attention in the condominium world! The story of how we transformed our special community from a near condemnable condition was unprecedented in Ft. Myers, as well as statewide. As you may recall, we were awarded the "Comeback Kid Award" last year in a statewide recognition. I think we all enjoyed a boost in our profile then!
Now we are very proud to share a Feature Article that was published about our tremendous transformation in Common Ground November/December 2016 magazine. This is a CAI and Community Association Leaders digital publication that highlights some of the more interesting things happening in condominium related news.
In "Towering Transformation"Jennifer Miller, a freelance writer in Washington DC, writes about when The Towers Condominiums was "under imminent threat of condemnation in 2006 for a variety of increasingly severe inspection violations and unpaid fines." She notes that "The board and new management rallied owners together, fixing physical issues, addressing financial problems, and reestablishing control over association governance."
The result of course, is that The Towers Condominiums is now an award winning community where families live in beauty and peace in a quiet corner of Ft. Myers. Many thanks to all the wonderful people who made this transformation happen!
